iTunes Art Importer is still another feature-adding application for iTunes. I don't know to what extent this application is worth it nowadays. Back when it was released it served quite a unique purpose. The application allows you to import album art for your songs in iTunes. This is done via an indirect link with the amazon.com service, which allows to download covers for albums manually. To use this application simply select all the files that you want to import artwork for, and select search within iTunes Art Importer. It works best if the songs are all from a single album, though. After that, the application will get in touch with the Amazon servers and download the content for you. Then, the content will be inserted (imported) into your iTunes library and it will show every time you select a song. This application was last modified in 2004. And almost 5 years have gone by since then, which makes me think that there might be newer and better applications that do this, even iTunes might do it by itself now.
